Yesterday (July 28) New York Times writer Jane Brody mentioned a fairly new book that guides families through the difficult process of choosing a nursing home.
The book, Almost Like Home, has been out in paperback since Februrary and was written by Joanna R. Leefer. Leefer founded ElderCareGiving, a service that helps families make care decisions for aging loved ones who can no longer live independently.
